The Inspiration

A note from our director Gary Alvarez: "Sweet Dreams" was inspired by a conversation my wife and I had while she was pregnant with our son. We learned that beginning with week 23 of a pregnancy, babies in the womb experience REM sleep. We wondered what our son could be dreaming about...In my mind, his dreams were pure imagination, untouched by the world outside. I took this idea and ran with it and wrote the first draft within a couple of days.
